Karen Nemsick
Karen Nemsick is the Executive Director of Rebuilding Together San Francisco - an agency that provides free repair and renovation programs for low-income, elderly and disabled San Franciscans and for nonprofit and community facilities. Prior to joining KEEN, Karen served as the Executive Director of Healing Waters, a life-strengthening organization that provides wilderness trips to men, women and youth living with HIV and AIDS. Karen also founded and directed Women In Action, an innovative nonprofit that provided outdoor challenge programs to women moving from welfare to work. As a true believer in the power of outdoor and recreational activities, Karen is thrilled to be working with KEEN in San Francisco. Back to Board of Directors... |
