Lucilla De Sarlo

Youth are the backbone of society and I firmly believe so! Even more with the arrival of my nephew born with down syndrome. This is why I started volunteering for KEEN London in 2013 and carried on in San Francisco when I, luckily enough, realized to have a presence here. I enjoy working with kids and watching them learn and push their limits while having fun. And, amusedly enough, I learn so much from them too and from other enthusiastic coaches who shares the same passion.
In addition to KEEN, I started volunteering with Coop, a non-profit that focus on helping diverse and underrepresented youth develop digital skills and get a foot in the door in their digital career. In this case, I leverage my working experience for others as I have been working in the digital space since 2006 and currently working at Microsoft.
When I don’t volunteer and I am not at work, I like traveling with my husband to visit new places, friends and family or cooking as it relaxes me and helps my creativity.
