Penelope Huynh

Penelope is driven by helping people and making the world a better place. As a daughter of refugee parents with six siblings, she had humble beginnings growing up in Los Angeles. As the first in her family to go to college, she’s been determined to find ways to influence social change in order to help others that also come from underserved backgrounds. After studying sociology at the University of California, Santa Barbara she’s worked in mission-driven technology startups in San Francisco in various business development and strategic partnership roles.

In her free time, Penelope stays grounded and motivated by volunteering with nonprofits (Hands On, ACLU, KEEN, Year Up) to drive large-scale impact with like-minded, passionate advocates. Daryl has been also found rock climbing by the beach, petting fluffy dogs, and waiting impatiently in long restaurant lines.
