    KEEN is a national, nonprofit volunteer-led organization that provides one-to-one recreational opportunities for children and young adults with mental and physical disabilities at no cost to their families and caregivers. KEEN's mission is to foster the self-esteem, confidence, skills and talents of its athletes through non-competitive activities, allowing young people facing even the most significant challenges to meet their individual goals.




    KEEN San Francisco launched an exciting new swim program for its athletes on May 31st! This program brings the KEEN formula of non-competitive recreational activity to the water. Athletes met for an hour of high energy fun at the North Beach Pool!

    Over 130 KEEN supporters gathered at the City Club of San Francisco on Friday, May 15th, 2009 for our second annual fundraising gala. Those attending enjoyed an evening of fine dining, auctions, and fundraising to benefit KEEN’s programs. We truly appreciate the generous support of our community who made this special evening a success!
